A priceless piece of customized art to cherish forever.
Commissions start with a series of photographs of the subject(s). Photos must be clear, well-lit, good quality photographs that show as much detail as possible. I can use more than one photograph if necessary and to get a sense of the subject’s character, so feel free to send multiple photographs if you have them. Background is not important unless the background will be included in the commissioned piece.
Once we have assembled the photo(s), I will work with you to determine the layout and details of the piece. When you are happy with the layout, I will begin the drawing.
I do not rush my work, as rushing can negatively impact the final piece, but I do try to work as quickly as possible to a deadline. Depending on the size and subject matter of the piece, commissions can take several weeks or months to complete. Please plan accordingly if you are planning to gift a drawing for a specific date.
Matting and framing of finished pieces can be done for an additional cost. Please also note that matting and framing adds at least two additional weeks to the overall time for the drawing to be completed.
